Jelly text effect

In this tutorial, i will show you about how to make a jelly text effect in the simplest way like what i did in my blog title.
Let's get started:

Step 1:
Open a new document in Photoshop, then apply Text tool, and write a text you want the effect to be applied. As for example i use "Love". And please remember that you should use bold/fat fonts in order to get the effect. I use "Script MT Bold" with font size 120 pt (this is optional)and color it to black

Step 2:
After you have your text ready, double click on the text layer and mark the "Gradient overlay" following this setting:

Here is the description:

YOu also can apply your optional gradient colors as long as it goes from the lighter to the darker color.

Step 3:
Still in the text layer, now mark the "bevel and Emboss" option.
And use this following setting:

Now your text must be like this:

Final Step:
Now add a new layer and name it "sparkly" to add some lights on your text.
choose brush palette and apply around 2px-4px hard round brush and use white color!
you should apply the brush variently from 2-4 px so that they can spread nicely.
After that double click on the "sparkly" layer and mark "Outer Glow",
use this following setting:

Nice isnt it?..You can add a shape layer if you want like the one i created.
I add hearts shape and if you want to add it too, you can just simply go to your text layer, right click > copy layer style, and then go to your shape layer, right click again and choose "paste layer style" and you can add the sparkly like the step before on the text layer. To make it more glassy, you can reduce the opacity of the text or the shape layers into 75%.

Have fun trying ^_^

here is another example with different colors:
